The EWG VERIFIED™ mark means that our products are safer and healthier for you and your family.

What is EWG?

EWG (Environmental Working Group) is a non-profit organization dedicated to stricter safety standards for personal care products, home cleaning products, and more. We have been huge fans of and have recommended the Skin Deep® Database for rating ingredients in personal care products. Through their Healthy Living App, they rated over 200,000 products for ingredient safety. Beyond their popular consumer safety guides, EWG focuses on research and promoting legislation to keep harmful chemicals out of our drinking water, personal care, and home cleaning products.

What does it mean that Organic Bath Co. products are now EWG VERIFIED™?

From the beginning, we have used the safest natural and certified organic ingredients in our products. EWG VERIFIED™ means that our product ingredients also meet the strictest third-party standards for safety. It means you can trust that the ingredients we use in formulating our products are safe for you and your family. 

We spent over nine months working with the science team at EWG to get our products certified. Every single ingredient in our formulations was reviewed, including testing certificates of analysis to confirm that no harmful chemicals are present in our products. The scientific standards behind our EWG VERIFIED™ program are the strictest available today, backed by EWG’s 25-plus years of research and expertise in chemical safety and human health.

Transparency is important to us. Not only are our ingredients Certified Organic and Fair Trade Certified whenever possible, they also meet strict standards for chemical safety.
